Brazilian Diet Pill Information and Warnings:
Brazilian diet pills have been in the medical news for a few years now, and some of these products are not safe to use at all. The Federal Drug Administration, also known as the FDA, has sent out warnings about two diet pills from Brazil that can have harmful and even fatal effects for consumers who take either of these products. One is called Emagrece Sim, and the other goes by the name Herbathin. These products are manufactured by Phytotherm Sim and Fytoterapicos, and both of these companies are located in Brazil. The active ingredients in these two diet pills are very harmful and can lead to serious medical problems, and even death for some. These diet pills are not approved for sale or use in the United States, and for very good reasons. These products are all over the Internet for sale, and are imported for sale by Emagrece Sim Laboratories, Inc, and Herbathin, Inc., as well as other names which are not all known. Emagrece Sim is also marketed under the name the Brazilian diet pill as well.
What is the main concern about Emagrece Sim and Herbathin Diet Pills?
These products may contain chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride, fluoxetine hydrochloride, and fenproporex, which is a stimulant drug product that is not approved in the U.S., as active ingredients, and these ingredients can lead to adverse health effects. Other active ingredients in these pills are actually controlled substances in this country, regardless of whether or not they are legal in Brazil. Both Emagrece Sim and Herbathin are marketed as dietary supplements, and they should be avoided completely. The health dangers are so severe that the FDA has issued an Import Alert to all their field personnel warning that these products should not enter the country under any circumstances. One of the active ingredients, chlordiazepoxide Hcl, is also the active ingredient in the drug Librium, which is prescribed to patients to control alcohol withdrawal symptoms and anxiety problems, and is known to be habit forming and dangerous to use without the supervision of a doctor and periodic medical tests.
Another key component of these two Brazilian diet pills is fluoxetine Hcl, which is the active ingredient for the prescription drug Prozac. Prozac is an anti-depressant drug, and is prescribed by physicians to treat bulimia, panic disorder, depression, and obsessive compulsive disorder, among other conditions. This ingredient has been linked to suicidal thoughts, insomnia, anxiety, and bleeding disorders. This ingredient should also be taken only under the care of a doctor because of the risks involved.
A third active ingredient in these two Brazilian diet pills is Fenproporex, and this ingredient is a stimulant. This drug is converted into amphetamine in the body, and can cause the results of a urine drug screen to test positive for amphetamines. Because of the serious side effects and health risks of using amphetamines, as well as the high addiction potential, this ingredient is considered a controlled substance and is illegal in the United States.
Brazilian Diet Pills are not FDA approved!
Some ads for these products state that they are FDA approved, and this is a flat out lie. Not only are they not approved by the FDA, the government agency has been trying since 2006 to stop the import of these products because of all the adverse health effects reported because of the Brazilian diet pills. Both products contain two bottles in the package, one which states formula one and the other that states formula two. They are available in levels one through five, and instructions on the packaging direct consumers to start at level one and work their way up to level five until the desired amount of weight is lost. The Emagrece Sim product line also includes a weight stabilizer product that is intended to keep the weight off once you initially lose it, and this package also contains two formulas. Regardless of what the product advertisements say, these two Brazilian diet pills are not safe for consumers to use, and should be completely avoided for the sake of your health and well being.
